Price match

They advertise you don't need the add for a price match.I was doing a price match and cashier questioned the price because there was a $3.00 difference. I always take my ads and know exactly what store has the price so I was able to show her. I showed her the ads for several items. I have shopped at walmart for many years. Service is typically bad but have stayed to save money. Now am so annoyed, I will spend more money elsewhere.

We are required to ask for an add when there is more than a 50% difference at our store. Cashier will get in trouble if they let any and every price match, despite a great difference in price go through. We are doing our job correctly and following OUR policy by asking you for a competitors ad. I've had a customer try to price match diapers that cost $19.97 for $8.99, she didn't have an ad and she said she couldn't remember where she saw it. Do you expect me to just take her word for it because she was a customer?
