equate feminine wipes biodegradable - Complaints

I am writing this letter in regards to the embarrassment and expense your product have cost me.

I have been purchasing Equate feminine wipes for some time now.

The label reads "flushable"
the back reads "safe for sewers and septic systems"

this is simply not true...
This past week we had to have our plumber come out to clean clogged household drains thanks to your product.
It was embarrassing for me; it costs us $213.00 for the labor

Not only am I out personal and financial expense; I feel this is something that is not ecologically sound.
I would like to hear from Walmart Very soon and feel I should be compensated. If I do not hear within the next week, I will make some inquiries of some environmental protection group since this product is certainly not biodegradable
I look forward to a response

I recently purchased some Equate feminine wipes and I am very disappointed in the quality of them. They were completely dried out upon opening. I would like to have this resolved.

I so agree with the comment -- I had a similar experience that cost me $360. The drainage pipe to the sewer from a two-unit apartment building I own was starting to back up. The rotor rooter guys went in last week and pulled up a large mass of these wipe products -- they could tell what they were by just looking at them. Disgusting smell too, and it's lingering in the laundry room. It apparently happens a lot. I had to write an indelicate memo to the tenants, and I'm out $360.

It's fiction that this has no environmental or plumbing system impact. They should not be manufacturing and selling this product. Only two things go down a toilet: human waste and toilet paper.
