I purchased a Acer laptop computer and purchased the EXTENDED 2 year warranty. When I tried to get a repair on a manufacturers defect, I was refused. The AC plug will not stay in so the laptop will charge. There is a piece or something just fell out when I tried to plug in the ac adapter. This WAS my major complaint. Well I paid Walmart.com and they have a company running the repair portion. That company refuses to fix this problem. They state they won't repair because of water damage. THERE IS NO WATER DAMAGE. The computer needs to have a clean-up but basically it runs fine. The damage I requested to be fixed has NOTHING to do with liquid damage. If anything the photos show a little liquid dried in the outer edge of the laptop. This is not damageed. It may exist however no COMPONENT was touched by the liquid. So I my laptop has been returned with NO repair. WALMART contacted, customer service gets the repair co. to send me the photos, Then I talk to another customer servive rep, They say that WALMART can't do anything when the repair company says there is water damage. NO LIQUID DAMAGE MADE THE AC ADAPTER PLUG IN LOCATION TO FAIL. IT IS A PART WHICH SOMEHOW FELL OUT. Next Walmart customer service rep confirms they cant help me. I pointed out I paid Walmart the $$$ for computer and warranty. Walmart backed the product and sold the warranty. BUT THE CO> THEY USE WILL NOT FIX MY COMPUTER and WALMART REFUSES TO STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT WHICH IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!! NEXT HIGHER CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON "NESTER" #2078578 contacts me and says walmart can't do anything. They WON'T do anything. HE repeats the same written statement as the first customer service rep stated. I request to speak to his supervisor, which I have done with all the previous representatives. He says he doesn't have a supervisor-----a supervisor that I can speak with" He refuses to allow me to speak with anyone above his level. He tells me if I want to speak with someone else I will have to call WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE. So basically start over? start over. PEOPLE WALMART WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD ANYONE AT WALMART WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU THE COMPANY STANDS BEHIND EVERYTHING THET SELL. DO NOT PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, WALMART DOES NOT BACK THIS EITHER. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SCREW YOU AFTER THAT. MAYBE WALMART SHOULD RETIRE, FIRE, TERMINATE OR LAY-OFF ALL THE SUPERVISORS AND MOST OF THE HIRER UP THE CHAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS. They can't do any more than the 1st person can do. THEN WALMART CAN DROP the prices down. THESES people were useless, Anyone can read the script.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, I HAVE TO REPORT THIS TO BBB. WALMART DOES NOT SUPPORT THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND DO NOT WORK TO RESOLVE ANY PROBLEMS. THE COMPANIES THEY HIRE TO HOLD THE WARRANTY< THEY DO NOT FIX THE PRODUCTS. THEY LOOK FOR A REASON TO NOT FIX THE PRODUCT> EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. NEVER AGAIN, NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!
